We have all came across at one point or another the "student" factor when dealing with clients. Some clients don't want to work with students, while other clients seem to seek out students for the hopes of getting the project done at a lower cost. How do you handle when a client finds out that you are a student?
What do you do or say that helps the client understand that you are still a freelancer that can handle their project, be it student or not? How do you explain that just because you are a student, it doesn’t mean that you will start charging less? What situations have you been in where you had to handle with what I call the “student” factor in our freelancing?
