One of the main reasons I started this site was to help student freelancers--like myself--become successful in their freelance endeavors. One way to do that is to get feedback from the community here. Thus, I would love to hear what you want to read about most.
Are you struggling with scheduling? Getting clients to take you seriously? Wondering how to market yourself? Let me know below so that I can help gear the content hear toward what you want to read about.
A blog is only as strong as its community. I want this site to be a great community so I plan to seek out advice every so often from our readers so we can continually provide articles you want to read.
So go ahead with all of your hooting and hollering below and let us know what you want to read about!
Maybe interesting softwares or web apps to help us run our own freelance business. Review them and suggest how it will actually help student freelancers.
What resources are exclusively available to students?
Free software and web apps that are actually helpful.
Perhaps an article on how to sub contract design work/programing work.
Very good idea! I think alot of student freelancers aren’t aware of alot of programs and apps out there to help make their life easier. I will write that down!
What do you mean by “sub contract” work? Are you talking about when someone subcontracts you, or for you to send work to others? Either way, I think that this is a good point because it is a completely different situation than just working strictly for a client.
Contracts! … and some do’s and dont’s about explaining technical (or design-related) stuff to clients 🙂
